Trips and outings

Dorchester and District u3a Trips and Outings 2023/4
**New trips for January to May 24 below ~ all bookable now**
As you are probably aware, Crossways Travel have introduced a new booking system. Each month, I will select a couple of their day trips which they will offer to u3a members at a discount. If you would like to go on any of these selected trips, you will need to book directly with Crossways Travel - making sure that you give them your Dorchester and District u3a membership number. At the moment, you can also book family or friends on these trips for the reduced rate. Below are the selected trips for the Autumn Term 2023 and Spring Term 2024. The prices quoted are with our u3a discount.

** I have now set up a contact group emailing list ~ if you’d like to be included on it so that you can receive regular updates please let me have your email address **
NEW  **Because of the new direct booking system you are now able to book any of these trips from now till 2 weeks before the trip goes ahead ~ subject to availability of course**
Below is the list of trips that I have selected with Crossways Travel for the next two terms.  They are offered at a 10% discount for all D&D u3a members ~ please remember that this 10% discount only applies to the trips selected below ~ not to Crossways’ other day trips.
  • To book directly with Crossways (01305 851697)
  • Look through the trips and if you’d like to book one, or more, ring Crossways Travel direct.
  • Say that you are ringing to book one of the trips selected for D&D u3a members and give them your membership number.
  • At this point you can select your pick up point, and which seat you would like on the coach ~ if you would like to take a non~u3a friend, or friends, with you you can book them in at this stage and they too will be eligible for the u3a discount ~ but you, the booking u3a member, will be responsible for arranging pick up points, coach seats and payment.
  • You will be asked for payment at the time of booking.
**  REMEMBER ~ to claim the 10% discount you must give your u3a membership number at the time of booking ~ you can’t do it at a later date! **
