Computing Club
Next Meeting - ZOOM
Thursday 2nd June, 15:00 - 15:40+ Agenda:
(Except June & August, which will be on Zoom) If you wish to attend this meeting, please let me know. Alan Hopwood, email: arh@dorchesteru3a.org.uk or tel: 07740 284 939 |
Technology moves so fast it is sometimes difficult to keep up with it. However given a group of like minded people with similar issues we usually find a solution. That is the purpose of the Computer Club.
The aim of the meeting is to provide an informal atmosphere where we can share, and hopefully solve, computer related difficulties. Often simple “Surgery” questions raised by our novices provide the most interesting and informative discussions with even the “experts” learning something new. In addition there is usually a short presentation on a computer topic of general interest.

The group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 15:00 in Holy Trinity Parish Centre, downstairs classroom.

We have a laptop computer available which can be connected the internet and coupled to our overhead projector so we can reproduce problems and illustrate demonstrations as well as providing “PowerPoint” type presentations.
