Birdwatching
The real meaning of 'Distancing'
Meetings
Our meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 0930.
Generally our Field visits involve gentle strolls along footpaths to nature reserves or other habitat. Give me a ring or email me if you are interested in joining the group field visits. We are a friendly group interested in expanding our knowledge of birds.
Our Field Trips may be amended, or during periods of bad weather cancelled at short notice.
You are advised to look at the web site before you leave home to come on a walk
If you require a lift or have any queries please contact me either by email or phone

2021 Field Trips
Obviously the Coronavirus has had a severe impact on our lives but we are still able to watch birds and observe nature from our homes and gardens. Also use the time inside to look at the many webcams at different organisations:
A new one which you can join is called 'A Self Isolation Bird Club' which has stunning bird photographs
Salisbury Cathedral has pictures of their Peregrines which are nesting
Below are a couple of photos of Female and Male blackcaps taken by one of our members
