Badminton

We play Badminton at Charminster Community Hall on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. For dates of meeting, click on Calendar and select Badminton. Places are available but please contact the Group Leader first. This group is now in its eighth year and meets twice per month (on the first and third Fridays, from 2pm to 4pm).
The group is a friendly group and is open to all abilities. However, everyone has played before and to a good standard. Please contact Anthea Gill and Sheila Couch, Group Leaders if you wish to join us. (Email: [email protected] or see newsletter for telephone number) Please could existing members let the Group Leader know if they no longer wish to attend. The rules of badminton have changed recently. We have decided to follow these, playing up to 15 points per game. Equipment: Please bring your own racket and wear loose clothing and suitable sports shoes (with non-slip soles).
