Petanque
Petanque is a simple and very social game played by people with boules. Little skill is needed apart from the ability to have a little fun and to laugh quite a lot, so come and join us if you wish. We have a core of experienced players who are always willing to assist new players to pick up the rules and tricks of the game.
We are not currently meeting but would normally play each Wednesday afternoon throughout the year unless the weather persuades us otherwise. We meet at 2 pm at Sandringham Sports Centre - please click here for a map. We play until about 4 – 4.30 pm. |
The beauty of the game is that complete beginners can compete almost immediately with experienced players and there is no real limit to the number of players taking part. Anyone is welcome to join us but be warned, it’s very addictive!
