Fun and Fitness with Scottish Country Dancing

Join our Scottish Country Dancing Group
No experience, special gear or partner required.   We meet every Tuesday afternoon for two hours of dancing (with a break in the middle for tea and a chat).  Our group has a range of experience, but we all enjoy ourselves immensely!

Click on the video to see the Group in action and click here for more information.

The u3a is an international movement of locally-run interest groups for people no longer in full-time employment and have reached their ‘third age’, a time to keep minds and bodies alert and active.  The groups provide a wide range of opportunities for members explore new ideas, skills and activities together

The Dorchester and District u3a is one of the larger u3as in the United Kingdom. This means that we are able to offer a very wide range of activities. Members receive a printed newsletter three times a year which is packed with useful information and which complements this website.
We are located in Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset in the south of England. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside close to the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site.
