Writing is an important mode of communication, not only in terms of the words it preserves and transmits but in terms of its visual appearance. It can be preserved as an art form - ‘kalligraphia’ beautiful writing. Calligraphy can bring much creativity and pleasure into the lives of those who practise and who appreciate it.
Lynda Kiss is the Group Leader for this new group which started in September.
The group meets in the Lower Classroom at HTPC on the 4th Tuesday of the month, from 2-4 pm. Contact Lynda on [email protected] for more details or to join the group.

The group meet to share this interest - some with experience, some complete beginners.
We work individually from a choice of nearly thirty different scripts; sharing experience and learning from each other. There is also time set in each session for exploring ideas in the use of various materials and tools, as well as ideas for sharing our skill in the form of gifts, greeting cards and display material. |
