FIRST MONDAY MEETINGS

At our April meeting, the Bard of Dorchester will talk to us on the the Life and Work of Lucy Baxter - daughter of the Dorset poet William Barnes.

Who knew that the longest time to complete a marathon at the Olympics was over 40 years?  Well we do having listened to Ken Kelly's talk on the Olympic Games (1896 -1946), as well as many other weird and wonderful stories from Olympic history.  It was a fascinating and very amusing session!

If you would like to suggest a speaker for our First Monday Meeting, please contact Christina Eury-Andrews, email: [email protected]
