Short Tennis
Short Tennis is played indoors and is similar to ordinary tennis but with a lower net, shorter handled racket and no overhead serving. We normally play doubles and each game lasts until the winning team reach eleven points or are two points ahead.
Short Tennis is fun and sociable. It is obviously suitable for those who played tennis when they were younger.
However, all of us started as beginners, so no previous experience is necessary.
We are happy to welcome new members and show them how to play. If required, you may borrow a racket when you first start playing.
We play in Stratton Village Hall, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday afternoons.
The next dates are as follows:
- Wednesday 20th March
- Wednesday 3rd April
- Wednesday 17th April
The attendance Fee is £1
