We are a very friendly and informal group of artists of very mixed experience and expertise, who tend to choose our own preferred style of art and media.
New members will greatly appreciate the support and encouragement of the group in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The art sessions usually take place on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 11.00am until 1.00pm. Members are to provide their own art materials and may bring their own refreshments. (Hand gel and cleansing wipes/cleaning sprays for the tables in the classroom are provided and members may bring/wear their own face masks they wish but not compulsory. The classroom can be well ventilated). As well as each session being primarily an active painting/drawing period, some sessions are set aside for en-plein-air outings, guest speakers and exhibitions.
