Bude Jazz Festival. This really was great. Over 4 days there were 40 Bands playing 60 sessions of Jazz. Which was my favourite ?, well I guess this was "La Vie en Rose " playing mainly Gypsy Jazz closely followed by the 2 Big Bands - The South Devon Big Band and The Golden Coast Big Band., both of whom included versions of Benny Goodmans " Sing ,Sing,Sing" in their repetoires.. My one complaint was that Mike Denham's Cafe Stompers had not been invited to play. Strange.
