German for Beginners/ Intermediates
We are a lively group of mixed ability encouraging willing members to run learning exercises, and drawing on expertise for grammar and conversation. We begin together, and then after a Coffee Break divide into Beginners and Intermediates subgroups.

German Conversation
The group is for German speakers wanting to develop or maintain some level of fluency. We range from pretty rusty to bilingual and we make anyone welcome who is happy to have a go. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10 -11.30 at a member's house in the centre of Dorchester. We chat, read articles or poems, watch and discuss the news. Usually we have a theme for the meeting e.g. ‘Autumn Festivals’ ‘Hobbies’ ‘German Humour’, so that members can prepare a contribution. The atmosphere is relaxed, we laugh a lot and enjoy word games. We welcome new members.
