Recent Equipment
We now have two equipment cupboards at HTC. EC1 contains laptops, projectors, DVD, and FMM items. EC2 contains PA systems (Hi-Fi, "Cube", and their accessories), music systems, and the Red Box with spare cables, batteries and adaptors.
We purchased a new projector in January (PR4) with a much sharper image.
PR4 is kept in the equipment cupboard EC1 at HTC and can be booked out.
We have a new laptop (LT4) which runs Windows 11 and replaces the old Windows 7 system which has been given to Scottish Dancing group.
We have also had a mini hi fi system donated (MF2) which has been placed in the upstairs classroom at HTC. Laptops and projectors can plug into the Audio in socket on the amp to get more volume for soundtracks and presentations.

Equipment Procedures
- Equipment, key-safe and door codes are managed by the Equipment Officer, Ian Blaby. Codes are unchanged in 2023.
- Regular users of equipment at HTC no longer need to specify usage in advance. We now have a spare laptop and projector at HTC for use offsite.
- Group Leaders are responsible for:
- Checking availability and making a reservation for use of equipment offsite . (complete booking sheet )
- Collecting equipment from storage. If you haven't used equipment for some time, check with Ian for access codes.
- Logging out equipment on the clipboard sheet as they collect it (items, date, name, Group)
- Locking the cupboard and key safe - including while groups are in progress.
- Returning equipment on time and completing the "date-in" field on the clipboard sheet.
- Reporting equipment problems to Ian.
