THURSDAY 4th JULY matinee at 2.15 pm to see the long running Agatha Christie Murder Mystery THE MOUSETRAP at Salisbury Playhouse Theatre. A coach will leave Weymouth at 10 am Dorchester Tesco, Queen Mother Square and South Station between 10.15 and 10.40 am arriving in Salisbury at about 11.30 am and returning after the performance at approx 5 pm. The cost will be £55 to include theatre ticket and coach travel to Salisbury. Non-member friends and Weymouth members will be welcome upon payment of an extra £1. Even if you have seen the play many years ago, can you remember who did the crime? THE KITE RUNNER on Wednesday 20th March at the Theatre Royal, Bath, is now fully booked. I am happy to take names for a standby list in case someone withdraws near the time and there are still a few seats available on the coach for a day out in Bath, costing £17. Departure from Weymouth 9.30 am, Dorchester locations between 9.45 am and 10.10 am, arriving in Bath at about 12 noon and returning at approx. 5.15 pm
A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL a comedy by Alan Ayckbourn on Thursday 16th May at Salisbury Playhouse 12.15 pm is also now fully booked. I am appy to take names for a standby list in case someone withdraws nearer the time. Departure times the same as for The Mousetrap.
As you may have seen in the local press, the coach company I have used for the past ten years, Barry's of Weymouth, are going to close down and are not taking any further bookings. All the other coach companies are fully booked for the summer months. Bluebird of Weymouth can supply us with coaches for future outings from September. As usual, payment is by cheque, cash or direct Bank Transfer. I am happy to allow any non-member friends come along, they just pay an extra £1. This also applies to members of any other u3a but not Dorchester.
