Science & Technology
|
The Dorchester U3A Science & Technology group has a broad remit. The group is open to all members of Dorchester U3A. Our meeting time is 09.30 – 11.30 pm on the third Wednesday of the month in the Lower Classroom of the Holy Trinity Parish Centre, Dorchester. Group members might have a background in Science or Technology or be interested in contemporary developments that affect us all.
We cover a wide-range of Science and Technology-based subjects, with talks and seminar-like discussions being given by our own members or by outside speakers. As well as pure and applied science topics we cover engineering, electronics, medicine and psychology together with a range of biological studies. We welcome discussion and argument and aim for the maximum involvement of group members.
We are a friendly, welcoming group and there is fun and laughter alongside the learning and debate. Do join us!
