Although ‘officially’ the Needles ‘n’ Pins group is disbanded for the present, we are still meeting to complete the 25th Anniversary collage. We’re nearly there so watch this space! Our grateful thanks to all those who have given their ideas, time and effort to the creation of the collage, I am sure you will all be delighted when you see it. We raised £260 at the Christmas Fayre plus £60 from the bookstall at last year’s barbecue which resulted in a cheque for £320 being presented to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice on behalf of the Dorchester & Weymouth U3A. In addition, the unsold items were given to Julia’s House to sell and they responded with a very nice letter of thanks. Margaret Pearce |
