Monthly Meeting Tea/Coffee Helpers

On behalf of everyone who has enjoyed a cup of coffee or tea and a biscuit at our monthly meetings, a big THANK YOU to all those volunteers who have done such a brilliant job of supplying everyone with drinks and biscuits at our monthly meetings in recent months, and for all the washing and drying up that goes with it afterwards.

Remember we are a self-help organisation and without our volunteers to make the drinks the monthly meetings would not be such enjoyable and social occasions, so I am appealing to you for offers of help at future monthly meetings. It’s not just the women who need to think about volunteering, perhaps we could have some more male volunteers – you never know you may even enjoy it and it’s much nicer having volunteers than having to press-gang people. Just think about it, if everyone who came to the monthly meetings volunteered you would only need to help out once every three years.
